Additional Tests for MVR Candidates

Required information for surgery scheduling
☐Blood typing (DEA 1.1)
☐Complete abdominal ultrasound report
☐The date your dog completes the 180-day quarantine (please manually count 180 days from the serology test date)

2 – 3 months before the surgery date

– CBC
– Biochemistry profile, Electrolytes
– SDMA
– Urinalysis : USG, UPC, dipstick test

1 – 2 months before the surgery date

– Coagulation profile : AT3, PT, APTT, Fibrinogen
– C reactive protein

List of tests only if it is indicated (please ask your veterinarian)

– Spec cPL
– Thyroid panel
– 4DX snap test
– ACTH stimulation test or low dose dexamethasone test
– Urine culture
– Fecal culture, parasite
– Biopsy of lumps or mass
