AAHA病院認定の更新につきまして

JASMINEは、2025年8月にAAHA（American Animal Hospital Association：全米動物病院協会）の病院認定を更新いたしました。
AAHA認定は、診療分野、施設・設備、病院の運営・管理などに関する約900項目もの基準を満たした動物病院にのみ付与されるものです。更新にあたっては、初回認定時の基準項目数を上回る内容での監査が行われ、診療および病院運営の質が継続的に維持されていることが認められました。
また、AAHAによるインターンシップ（研修）制度の認定も新たに取得いたしました。
本認定は、研修指導体制や教育内容、施設環境などについて厳正な審査を経て付与されるもので、北米地域以外では初の認定取得となります。
AAHA認定は初回2年、その後3年ごとに更新審査が行われます。
今後も同基準の維持を含め、より質の高い獣医療サービスの提供に努めるとともに、
国際基準に基づく診療と人材育成の両面から、獣医療の発展に貢献してまいります。


JASMINE renewed its accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) in August 2025.
AAHA accreditation is awarded to veterinary hospitals that meet approximately 900 standards covering areas such as patient care, facilities and equipment, as well as hospital management and operations. As part of the reaccreditation process, JASMINE underwent a comprehensive evaluation that assessed a broader range of standards than those applied during its initial accreditation. This result confirms that the hospital has continued to maintain a high level of quality in both medical care and hospital management.
In addition, JASMINE successfully passed the AAHA Internship Section review, confirming that its internship program meets AAHA standards. According to AAHA, JASMINE is the first institution outside North America to successfully complete the AAHA Internship Section review.
AAHA accreditation is initially awarded for a two-year term and is subsequently renewed every three years.
JASMINE remains committed to upholding AAHA standards while providing high-quality veterinary medical services. Through internationally benchmarked clinical practice and the training of veterinary professionals, the hospital will continue to contribute to the advancement of veterinary medicine.

台湾Chuan animal hospitalとの業務契約につきまして

台湾Chuan animal hospitalとの業務契約を更新いたしました。
更新に際しては、盧 大立（Ta-Li Lu）病院長と李 東儒（Tung-Ju Lee）副病院長がJASMINEに往訪され、署名式を執り行いました。
Chuan animal hospitalは台北市にある、心臓の専門動物病院です。
先生方はたいへん熱心で、これまでも多くの情報交換を行っておりました。
契約更新を機に、これまで以上に強固な協力体制のもと両国の獣医療発展に貢献してまいります。
 
We have renewed our business partnership agreement with Chuan Animal Hospital in Taiwan. On the occasion of the renewal, Hospital Director Dr. Ta-Li Lu and Vice Director Dr. Tung-Ju Lee paid an official visit to our hospital, and a signing ceremony was placed.
Chuan Animal Hospital is a cardiac specialty animal hospital located in Taipei City. The veterinarians there are highly dedicated, and we have engaged in extensive exchanges of knowledge and information over the years.
With this contract renewal, we look forward to further contributing to the advancement of veterinary medicine in Japan and Taiwan through a strengthened collaborative partnership.

AAHA con 2024にてJASMINEは特別賞を受賞いたしました。

米国ワシントンにて開催されたAAHA con 2024にて、JASMINEは特別賞（AAHA’s Recognition of Veterinary Impact）を受賞いたしました。
今回の受賞に甘んずることなく、常に自分たちの獣医療の向上を目指し努力してまいります。
AAHA(American Animal Hospital Association：全米動物病院協会)とは北米圏（アメリカ・カナダ）で動物病院を認定する唯一の組織です。
認定を受けるには、医療記録・麻酔・外科・疼痛管理・画像診断などの診療分野はもちろんのこと、
人事・リーダーシップ・教育制度・設備など、動物病院の運営・管理に関する分野でも条件をクリアする必要があります。
JASMINEでは2023年夏に認定され、この後2025年に再評価、その後も3年に一度再認定を受けることになります。
飼い主さんに安心感を持って受診いただけるよう、これからも真摯に取り組んでまいります。

As the only organization that accredits veterinary hospitals in North America, the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets rigorous standards for medical practices and hospital management. Certification involves comprehensive evaluations across various fields, including medical records, anesthesia, surgery, pain management, and diagnostic imaging, as well as human resources, leadership, education systems, and facilities.
JASMINE received accreditation in the summer of 2023, and will undergo reevaluation in 2025, with reaccreditation occurring every three years thereafter.
Our team remains dedicated to continually improving our services, ensuring that pet owners can visit our hospital with complete confidence and peace of mind.

NPO法人 どうぶつたちの病院 沖縄へ寄付金をお届けいたしました

この度JASMINEは、どうぶつたちの病院 沖縄へ、寄付金62,415円を無事にお届けすることが叶いました。

この募金箱は、獣医医療開発株式会社さんのお蔭にて設置に至りました。

心臓病犬の飛行機渡航の安全性に関する研究論文を発表しました

当センターの高橋新音獣医師が、心臓病犬の飛行機渡航の安全性に関する研究論文をNature, Scientific Reportsに発表しました。

飛行機での移動が当たり前にある現代、国内・海外を問わず、飼っているわんちゃんを連れて移動が必要になる機会もあると思います。
そんなとき、わんちゃんが心臓病を抱えていると、安全に飛行機に乗れるのかどうかは飼い主さんにとって大きな不安を感じる場面ではないでしょうか。
その不安に対しての一つのヒントになる研究論文を、当センターの高橋新音獣医師がNature, Scientific Reportsに発表しました。

この研究によると、心臓病を持つ犬でも飛行機のキャビン内なら意外と空の旅を楽しめるかもしれません。
獣医師の指示には従って、安全に移動してくださいね。

日本弁膜症学会に参加しています

12月16日、17日宮崎で開催されている日本弁膜症学会に参加しています。
学会からお招きもありJASMINE どうぶつ循環器病センターから５題発表しました。
弁膜症に対する医学と獣医学の情報交換を積極的に行っています。

Dr Eric Monnetが見学にいらっしゃいました

コロラド州立大学動物病院  小動物軟部一般外科教授のDr.Eric Monnetが来日されました。
心臓外科に関心をお持ちとのことで、JASMINEで僧帽弁修復術のオペを見学されました。
モネ先生は今年当院の外科長に就任した德永獣医師のアメリカでの指導医であり、縁の繋がりを感じます。

当院ではコロナ禍以前より国外からの見学者を受け 入れておりましたが、
最近になり少しずつ再開することができるようになりました。
今後も国内のみにとどまらず世界中の獣医師と交流をはかり、より知識を深めて参りたいと思います。
Dr Eric Monnet, a professor in small animal surgery (General Surgery) from Colorado State University,
visited JASMINE on 6th December. Dr Monnet came to observe mitral valve repair surgery as he has a special interest in cardiac surgeries.
Dr. Monnet used to be our recently appointed chief of surgery – Dr. Tokunaga’s mentor
while he was training as a surgical resident at the Colorado State University.
JASMINE has been accepting overseas veterinarians to visit our facility prior to the pandemic.
Since the situation is better now, we have resumed foreign veterinarians to visit and observe the open-heart surgeries.
We enjoy interacting and exchanging ideas with veterinarians around the world and
we wish to continue learning from others to expand our knowledge.

台湾で僧帽弁修復術を実施しました

台湾のCHUAN ANIMAL HOSPITALにて僧帽弁修復術の手術を再開いたしました。
コロナ渦でなかなか実施できておりませんでしたが海外では約3年ぶりの手術です。
海外にいる病気で苦しむワンちゃん、ネコちゃんのために
少しずつJASMINEチームの渡航を復活してまいります。

JASMINE研究所の杉谷 博士所長が日本大学での再生医療にかかる研究で特許を取得しました。

JASMINEの基礎研究グループが日本大学時代に申請していた特許が登録となりました。
内容は、ヒトの脱分化脂肪細胞(DFAT)を材料にした簡単な神経の作成方法です。
現在はイヌのDFATから心臓組織を作る方法にチャレンジしており、将来的にはJASMINEの臨床現場で活かされることに期待しています。
